Do you love parry-heavy games but are looking for something different from the traditional style? Well, you've found the right project.

WHO WE ARE

We are a small indie team from Chile, made up of an engineering student (Benyi) and a digital animation student (Tian).

Our dream is to contribute our part to the indie game scene that has given us so much. Our ultimate goal is to deliver a faster, more aggressive, and dynamic experience than traditional 2D parry-heavy games—a game that keeps you under non-stop pressure.

Over the past few months, we’ve been building the foundations of the game:

  • ART DIRECTION

THE CORE COMBAT CONCEPT

From day one, our goal has been speed, relentless pressure, and non-stop movement. In many games, the parry functions purely as a defensive safety net. We want to push it to the next level, weaving in dodges and quick-time events (QTEs) that demand absolute speed and split-second precision.

IKER 

The protagonist possesses a rare gift: he can manipulate an exotic mineral, bending its unique properties to his will effortlessly, while others depend on extremely advanced technology just to scratch the surface.

Iker is far from being a hero.

He is impulsive, aggressive, and strikes before thinking about the fallout. 

His ultimate mission is to prevent a future catastrophe, even if that means shattering historical timelines or eliminating anyone who dares to cross his path.

The core of the combat and movement systems was built directly around his attitude: Fast, offensive, and relentlessly intense.


THE UNIVERSE

The story unfolds across multiple universes where key historical events have been altered. Driven by the protagonist’s unique gift and the power of an extremely rare mineral known as Aiko, he can rift through different eras and dimensions.

Each level represents a distinct time and place, all bound together by the same looming conflict.

The journey begins on an exoplanet named AO-001, widely known as "Genesis." This world is home to the Kahú, a deeply peaceful species. Because Genesis is rich in Aiko, humanity has launched a brutal invasion to harvest the mineral at all costs.





THE KAHÚ

The native inhabitants of Genesis, a peaceful species deeply intertwined with their world's ecosystem.

To the Kahú, Aiko is sacred. The ruthless theft of the mineral by human invaders inflicts deep suffering upon them, yet their gentle nature leaves them entirely defenseless.

This relentless resource depletion and human expansion are bound to trigger catastrophic consequences in the future.

This imminent disaster is precisely what drives the protagonist to step in and alter this turning point in history.

Characters like Sahú and Araú are among the many Kahú scattered throughout the world. Players will be able to converse with them to piece together their history and unravel the world's secrets.


THE FIRST THREATS

The first level features a variety of unique encounters designed to test your reflexes.

 Meet the first enemies:

X-Tandard

The ideal training ground. This frontline enemy is designed to introduce players to the core combat and timing mechanics.

Speeder

Where the true challenge begins. Speeder is built to keep players under relentless pressure, utilizing lightning-fast strikes and constant repositioning to break your guard.



THE ROADMAP

Right now, our dev efforts are fully focused on:


  • Core Combat: Refining and finalizing the main mechanics.
  • The Roster: Completing the remaining enemies and mini-bosses.
  • Visuals: Implementation of in-game animations and VFX.
  • First Level Polish: Fine-tuning the entire experience.
  • The Playable Build: Piecing together the public demo.


Our Goal: We aim to launch our first public playable demo once the first level is fully polished, targeting late this year or early next year.

We are giving it our all to juggle our university studies with gamedev, so please bear with us and stay patient!!

That makes sense! He’s far from a traditional, likable hero. We wanted his design to show he’s someone who will do whatever it takes to achieve his goal, no matter the cost. Glad you liked the art!
